Hands-Only CPR Presented By Project SMILE

Hands-Only CPR Presented By Project SMILE In-Person

Sudden cardiac arrest is a public health crisis in the United States. More than 356,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occur annually. Join volunteers from Project SMILE (Saving More Illinois Live through Education) to learn adult and child hands-only CPR, choking relief, and using an AED (automated external defibrillator). The guidelines for CPR during the COVID-19 pandemic will also be discussed. Participants will have the opportunity to practice their newly learned skills on manikins. Project SMILE is a community CPR awareness project initiated by the Chicago Medical Society in 2011. Join this great training and learn to save lives! Ages 14 and up.
