Illinois Watercolor Society Meeting featuring Jim Brooksher In-Person
Join the Illinois Watercolor Society in welcoming artist Jim Brooksher. Jim states "In my work, I transform actual locations into memorable places. My primary goal in painting is to inspire the viewers to visit the depicted locations. All my landscape works represent real locations. My paintings of barns, lighthouses, Chicago scenes, and meadows and fields are often started on location, then finished in the studio with the aid of multiple photos. I often demonstrate my work while doing outdoor art fairs. I have participated in over 300 art fairs since 1979." Registration required.
